Dhania and Kundan are childhood lovers. In search of better economic conditions, they come to Bombay and work in a cinema hall. Dhania's latent desire to become an actress is found here. Impressed by her dance, a filmmaker helps her become an actress and she is named Sitara. Kundan is left behind when Dhania follows her dreams. Out his love for her, Kundan decides to return to his village.
