Deva, a retired lawyer, keeps a watch on harassment of Arjun to Preethi, a girl next door. When the situation worsens, Deva saves Preethi from an acid attack by Arjun. Having saved her, Deva takes Arjun off to a park to make him realise the importance of love by narrating Rishi’s story. Pavithra runs out of his life not to be seen again and falls in friendship with Anand whose only motive is live-in. What did Rishi do that scared her off, did he find her again, did he get married as promised and who Rishi is to Deva forms rest of the story.
