Gangadhar returns to his village after many years from the city and realises that his favourite school teacher, who was the reason Gangadhar pursued education in the first place, is punished for wanting to teach good values to the Sarpanch's daughter. Gangadhar sets out to improve the condition of his village which has worsened over the years and bring to justice those who ruined his teacher's life.
