A housewife learns that her friend's husband has lost his job at a factory because he has fallen sick. She is aghast when she realises that he's not the only one and that many factory workers are losing their jobs because they're falling sick due to the pollution caused by the factory. Seeing how utterly unfair the situation is, she stands up against the influential factory owner for the people losing their jobs as well as the environment.
