Jab Jab Phool Khile' is a simple love story of a poor boatman from Kashmir named Raja (Shashi Kapoor) and a rich tourist, Rita (Nanda). Post their initial friction, the duo falls in love, but Rita's father disapproves of their relationship. To seek his acceptance and fit into her social circle, Raja tries to modernise himself with Rita's help. But all attempts fail when a misunderstanding sparks between the two of them. Will the couple sail through their conflicts and reunite?
