Gola Berij is a 2012 Marathi semi-fictional biopic film on the life of prolific Marathi writer P.L Deshpande. The film stars Mohan Agashe, Mukta Barve, and Subodh Barve. Gola Berji looks at the journey of writer P.L. Deshpande and tries to introspect his life. Through his books and life events, the film creates real and fictional characters to figure out the source of inspiration that shaped P.L. Deshpande’s personality.
