Years after the demise of his mother, Max, a bratty city softened music enthusiast, travels to a rural Indian village with his overprotective father, Richard, to meet his estranged orthodox grandfather, Dada, for the first time. Frustrated with the alien surroundings and the constant bickering between his father and grandfather, Max, runs away with his mother’s ashes, forcing them to look for him in a mysterious jungle plagued with misguided animal poachers.
