Anil (Mithun Chakraborty) vows to exact revenge on Mr. Oberoi (Om Shivpuri) for having humiliated his mother on false charges of robbery. Years later, Anil, now known as Jimmy, emerges as India's finest disco dancer, having dethroned Oberoi's son Sam (Karan Razdan). Mr. Oberoi then tampers with Jimmy electric guitar, which results in the death of his mother. Traumatised by this incidence, Jimmy develops a phobia of guitars, and refuses to sing, until Mr. Oberoi's daughter helps him overcome his fears. Will Jimmy be able to sing again and also teach a lesson to the man who ruined his life?
