Mr. Satyasundar Bose, Shankar's co-worker and receptionist, is a friendly, benevolent, and respected worker. He and Ms. Sujata Mitra, an air hostess, marry and resign from their jobs to find better living. However, Sujata's meets with a tragic air crash on her last flight while take off that leads to her death.
