Pitamber Choudhry meets Vinod, a prospective groom for his youngest daughter, Geeta. Vinod spends some quality time with Geeta and they eventually fall for each other. Pitamber approves of their relationship, thinking he is the foreign-returned engineer. But he learns from Meera that Vinod is merely an overseer for the actual engineer, Sunil. Vinod and Geeta's lives are thrown into a whirlwind of emotions when Pitamber asks his daughter to marry Sunil instead of Vinod.
