A couple, Vishal (Ajay Devgan) and Swati (Urmila Matondkar), buys a high-rise apartment at a ridiculously low price. The caretaker of the apartment, Mr. Thakkar (Amar Talwar) explains to Vishal that a widow named Manjeet Khosla (Barkha Madan), the previous resident, committed suicide after killing her own son. What follows is a series of eerie and hair-raising episodes in the apartment. How they cope with it and finally exorcise the ghost is the crux of this movie.
