Savita Oberoi is a cold-hearted and wealthy businesswoman. Her only son Ashwin, is soft-hearted person who falls in love with Pooja. Pooja hails from a poor family. Her father used to be a famous poet, Porash Sundarla, who is now disabled, and her mom, Sudha Sunderlal is a housewife and a teacher. Mrs. Oberoi wants her son to marry Lily who is settled in the United States of America. When Ashwin confess to his mom that he is in love with Pooja , she consents to go to see the girl. She is even impressed with Porash Sundarla. Yet, she insists on getting her son married to Pooja. But Ashwin takes his call. Ashwin marries Pooja and at the same to placate his adamant mom, he gets engaged to Lilly. What step will Mrs. Oberoi take when she would come across the truth?
