A married couple Anand and Devki gets acquainted with another newly married duo Yashoda and Vikas in Kashmir. Years later, they meet under tragic circumstances when their trains collide and the mishap claims the life of Vikas. Believing his wife to be dead, Anand gives up his own child to Yashoda, who's lost her husband and has given birth to a still-born. But Anand faces a dilemma when Devki returns.
